On June 14th 2007, the residents of Milton’s Ward 2 gave a vote of confidence to Greg Nelson and elected him to local council.

While on council, Greg has fought to bring in tax increases only when necessary and during his very first council session, voted against a pay increase for Councillors in Milton. Public safety, senior’s issues, the future of Milton"s youth and the effects on growth for the existing urban area have been at the forefront of his efforts. Not always one to accept policy or recommendations as the rule of law, he has sought out and valued the opinion of his constituency in a fair and empathetic manner. His passion for the community as well as several charity causes has made him a sought after leader not only in Milton but in the Region of Halton as well.

But his job is not done!

On October 25th, the people of Ward 2 will elect one voice to represent them at Milton Council. The next four years will bring a great number of challenges to Milton and the constituency of Ward 2 need and deserve a person of common sense, tenacity and experience to ensure that their voice is well heard in Council chambers. Greg needs your support to continue his efforts as your elected representative in Ward 2.
